Hi, I'm Blake.

For more almost a decade, I've helped nonprofits across Kansas and Missouri raise money — as an annual fund manager, event producer, grant writer, and the person who actually cleans up the database.

Most recently, I managed the annual fund and fundraising events for an education nonprofit serving students across two states. Before that, I built community health coalitions and managed grants at the Wyandotte County Public Health Department, and supported public school students through the Kansas City, KS School Foundation for Excellence.

Here's what those years taught me: small nonprofits don't fail at fundraising because they lack passion or good ideas. They fail because nobody owns the annual fund. The appeal goes out late. The thank-you letters lag. The grant calendar lives in someone's head. And every year starts from scratch.

The Annual Fund Co. exists to fix that. I bring the systems, the calendar, the copy, and the strategy — you bring the mission. Together, your fundraising stops being reactive and starts being reliable.

A few things about me: I'm a University of Kansas alum, an avid baker, a backyard birder, and a proud Overland Park resident. When I'm not writing appeal letters, I'm probably tending my native garden or hosting friends around the grill.
